Lesson Overview

1.66 – Safe Pacing: Emotional Regulation in Motion: Emotional pacing means moving at the speed your body can handle rather than the tempo adrenaline demands. During crisis, slow deliberate motion—walking, stretching, organizing—redirects panic energy into rhythm instead of chaos. Count steps or breaths to synchronize movement with stability. Rushing magnifies fear; pacing diffuses it. Think of regulation as choreography between heart and lungs. Keep pace consistent until pulse drops noticeably. Avoid caffeine or heavy conversation during pacing sessions. When calm returns, journal observations for pattern tracking. Consistency trains your nervous system to follow your lead rather than hijack it. Over time, safe pacing becomes automatic—proof that rhythm restores authority when emotion threatens command.
